The steep walls of the crater and verdant floor serves as a natural sanctuary for some of Africa’s densest populations of large mammals, including a few rhinoceros. Ascending the crater in the afternoon, you will travel back to Arusha where, for those on the full 13-day retreat, you will be able to join an evening yoga session before dinner and overnight at your Arusha hotel.
